Solang Valley: Describe The Most Photographed Place In Your Country

As for India, there are as well many other stunningly beautiful places I had the chance to see in my country, but one of my favorites is the Solang Valley situated in Himachal Pradesh. I witnessed it at my best friend’s last Christmas holiday Solang Valley, on the top of the hills in Himachal Pradesh, is known for its breathtaking beauty, where pine trees, lush greenery and meadows that look pleasant during the sunset around 6 PM, are but a few examples.

Each day as the sun starts to settle against the snowy hills at nightfall, the whole landscape is lit up with the golden hues that make one want to capture the scenery in a frame. We would gather at the appointed time and be sure to make it there before the sun began to set, so we could look upon the snow-capped peaks which, at the moment of sunset, would look like newly adorned jewels. So many people photograph this stunning nature, and I was in the crowds with cameras.  However, I managed to capture some unforgettable shots.

The most impressive one of my photos turned out to be very beautiful, fine-looking, and refined, so I chose to frame it and hang it in my room. We gathered information from a local who informed us that over ten Bollywood movies are shot here every year. The moment I reached this destination became the gateway to the most memorable experience of my life and I consider the possibility of other trips with similar settings a very attractive option.

Model Answer 2 – Describe The Most Photographed Place In Your Country

The Taj Mahal, a symbol of love and a part of the Seven Wonders of the World, ranks among the most mesmerizing sights to behold. One of the wonders of the world, which is known as the monument of love, was constructed by the King Shah Jahan who lost his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal, and built in her memory. It is situated on the bank of Yamuna River in the city of Agra, Uttar Pradesh. It has been the most eye-catching and photographed site in India for a reason – every day, the place is being visited by hordes of tourists. Luckily, I had an opportunity to go to this ancient cranny with my family this past summer.

Train was our means of transport for an onward journey to Agra. And when the time came, we had arrived in Agra. It was already late. So we chose to go to the Taj Mahal on the 2nd day, in the morning. My sister and I were like a pair of crazy but excited kids, and we couldn’t wait for the following day to come. And then, on the last day, we all woke up, got ready, and went to the Taj Mahal riding on a vehicle. After clearing the payments for the tickets when the moment to go inside came in I was immersed in the beauty of the Taj Mahal. There are minarets built on four corners of the domes at the same time, they are also so artistic and pleasing.

It was a monument of brilliant white marble with stunning gardens and terrific pools all around it. We move through the road of marble flagstones. In these rivers was the splendor of fountains. On both sides I saw grass and trees, beyond which there were high walls or buildings. I admired the way Mahal was done with ruling Mughal style. Hence, when we entered the room, we came across the graves of the queen and the king under intricate domes in a dim chamber.

Although it’s forbidden for anyone to enter the place wearing shoes, the men on duty outside gave us canvas shoes. The side walls were embellished with glass fragments in various colors and Quranic couplets. We took numerous photographs in front of the Taj Mahal after we emerged. Those photographs came out so beautiful that I could not resist getting them framed. Those photographs were the true picture of how beautiful that place is and so is our country. I couldn’t help but look back several times as we were leaving, and I hoped to return to this stunning monument at some point in my life.

What could be the reason behind people’s attraction to visit new places instead of spending their spare time in their homes?

Traveling is a hobby that is often engaged in by people wanting to take a break away from home for various reasons. On the other hand, traveling brings along relaxation and rejuvenation which are things that people may unknowingly deprive themselves of in their normal daily working lives to regain their energy. It stitches their busy schedule into pieces on which they can glue close friendships and family contacts.

Why should we be cleaning our surroundings?

Not only the countryside but nature too should be protected. This is due to the fact that these areas tend to be of larger economic importance for the country since a large portion of the economic stability is within the agricultural field. Moreover it helps in conserving the environment and eco passion.

In what ways does your country’s countryside face danger?

This problem is the main cause of the high rate of urbanization. Companies opt for relocation of their industries into outskirts of city centers that is a major factor for the depletion of land resources.  Consequently, the increased property value makes it impossible for the poor and the middle class to afford decent living.
