The IELTS Speaking section is designed to assess your spoken English skills in a real-life context. The speaking section is divided into three parts and lasts between 11 to 14 minutes.
In Part 2 of the Speaking test, you will encounter the Cue Card. Here, you are given a card that presents a specific topic or prompt, along with key points to cover during your response. You will have one minute to prepare before speaking for 1-2 minutes on the topic. The Cue Card allows you to showcase your ability to express ideas clearly, organize your thoughts coherently, and use appropriate vocabulary and grammar.
