- Open to international students aged 27 or under (born after March 31, 1997).
- Applicants must not be studying in France at the time of their application.
- Only first-time applicants for the Eiffel scholarship are eligible.
- Cannot be combined with another French government scholarship.
- Students currently residing in France are not eligible.
PhD Level
- Open to international PhD students aged 32 or under (born after March 31, 1992).
- Applies to the first year of a co-supervised or co-directed thesis.

Duration –
Master Programme
The Eiffel scholarship is given for a period of :
- 12 months maximum for enrolment in Master 2
- 24 months maximum for enrolment in Master 1
- 36 months for an engineering degree
PhD Programme
The Eiffel scholarship is given for 12 months to 36 months (divisible into stays of at least 6 months with justification and following a decision by the commission.

- Master’s Level: EUR 1,181 or INR 1 Lakhs monthly allowance, plus international and national transportation, insurance, housing assistance, and cultural activities.
