Got offered a CCA in Schulenburg TX vs an offer in Boerne TX as RCA. Which should I take?

The deadline is probably by 11:59 pm central tonight for me to accept the Schulenburg position. Problem is I already accepted Boerne so if I accept Schulenburg I am essentially giving up Boerne. I currently live in San Antonio, TX.

Apparently there is no
housing there as it’s very low population and the closest would be Victoria or
Bastrop which are like an hour from Schulenburg. There is La Grange only 20
minutes away or something but I don’t know if there is housing there. I would
only be guaranteed 4 hours or maybe 16 hours a week in Schulenburg which isn’t
enough to live on. There is one guy who may or may not be retiring soon and
another person ahead of me to get seniority or something and then it would be
me. I’m Catholic and Schulenburg seems like it’s in the middle of nowhere. How
would I find a Catholic wife out there? It’s like 1+ hours away from all major
cities except small towns. I was told I could pick up hours in surrounding
offices but no guarantee on hours with that or if that could be done on a
regular basis.

In Boerne it’s like the
exact same situation with only 8 to 16 hours guaranteed and opportunity to pick
up hours in surrounding cities and I wouldn’t have to relocate. RCA can get
paid for 8 hour+ days if you finish fast. Apparently the CCA has much better
union and there have been no issues or complaints in Schulenburg from either
the union or office said. If you cough the CCA union wants to know about it but
Boerne office told me union doesn’t do anything and only helps you not get
fired I think?

I’m in my late 30s and need to get a career
going if I want to start a family and move out of parents’ house. I tried
asking if I could transfer out of of either station and apparently transferring
isn’t the easiest thing to do and you have to wait out your probationary period
first and there may not be an opening at that time. I thought transferring
would be easier to than applying externally again to a station with more hours.
Apparently this is not the case? And this has to be my primary job so it makes
it impossible to have a second job that has me scheduled during the day when I
could be called at any moment to work the carrier job.

It takes less time to make full time as a
CCA but the location is not desirable nor the hours as a CCA and it takes
longer as an RCA but I won’t have to move away from my big city environment
that has all the resources I need and my parents are there. The only other
downside of staying in San Antonio is that I don’t have the best status with
the diocese here and I don’t know when it’s going to get better whereas if I
moved to Schulenburg I could start fresh where no one knows me but it’s a much
smaller diocese.
