Simon Youth Community Scholarship for College
The Simon Youth Community Scholarship is an opportunity for students to win $1500 for college! A scholarship for shopping? Sort of!

OK, not exactly, but this is certainly a great scholarship opportunity for students who qualify to apply!
This scholarship opportunity is for students who live in an area with a Simon-owned shopping mall. To determine if you live in one, use this link.
The Simon Youth Community Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors who live in a Simon Mall community through one-time scholarships.
Scholarship recipients are eligible for a one-time $1,500 scholarship, with one scholarship awarded at each Simon center.
In addition, the top-ranking applicants selected in Simon communities will be eligible for the Award of Excellence, which is a renewable scholarship awarded to one student in eligible Simon regions.
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be a high school senior attending school and living in a Simon Community
- Be a legal U.S. or Canadian resident
- Plan to enroll as a full-time student at an accredited two or four-year college, university, or vocational/technical schoolin the fall after high school graduation
- Demonstrate academic promise and financial need
- Write 6 short (100 words or less) essays on their personal views and current life situations
- Deadline: February 14

Applicants will be evaluated based on academic promise, financial need, written response, work experience, and community/extracurricular involvement.
Winning College Scholarship Tip: Students need to look into the background and mission statement of the organization offering this scholarship.
Scholarship providers are looking for the best student to represent THEM, so making them happy is important and helps the judges to remember the student!
