Denver Scholarship Foundation (DSF) has once again been named one of The Denver Post’s Top Workplaces in Denver for 2025! This marks the sixth time DSF has received this honor—an achievement made even more meaningful because it comes directly from the voices of the incredible DSF staff.
This year, DSF ranked among the top 150 organizations out of more than 117,000 employee surveys collected across Colorado. And in many categories, DSF stood out even further—ranking in the top 5% for organizational direction, cross-team cooperation, and living our values. DSF was also recognized in the top 25% for meaningful work, work-life balance, and innovation. Even more, DSF CEO, Lorii Rabinowitz, was honored as a top 25% Trusted Leader, a reflection of the confidence and respect she inspires across the organization.

At DSF, we believe that how we serve is just as important as who we serve. DSF’s culture is built on connection, trust, and a shared commitment to equity and educational opportunity. Whether supporting a first-generation college student through their scholarship application or collaborating across teams to improve our programs, every team member brings purpose and passion to the work.
That’s why this recognition means so much. It’s not about perks or prestige—it’s about people. It’s about a team that shows up for each other and for our community every day. It’s about shared values that go beyond the walls of our office and into the futures of thousands of Denver students and families.
“Our staff are the heartbeat of DSF,” said Rabinowitz. “They lead with integrity, innovate with courage, and build relationships grounded in trust and belonging. To be honored as a Top Workplace based on their feedback is both humbling and energizing.”

The Denver Post’s Top Workplaces awards are based entirely on employee surveys measuring organizational health, leadership, purpose, and culture. To be recognized six times reflects a consistent environment where people feel seen, supported, and empowered to make a difference.
DSF’s mission is to help make college possible for Denver students, and it starts with a strong internal foundation. When our teams thrive, our students do too. Together, we are building a future where every Denver Public Schools (DPS) student has access to the tools, resources, and relationships they need to pursue their goals—and where the people doing that work feel proud, valued, and connected. We’re not just building a better workplace. We’re building a better Denver.
