Eligibility Criteria:
- The participants should possess one of the following qualifications or equivalent to get enrolled (16 years of education from HEC and/or PMDC recognized university/institute):
MBBS/MD (Registered with PMDC)
BDS (Registered with PMDC)
BS Public Health – Four Years
B.Sc. Nursing – Four Years (Registered with PNC)
B.Sc. Paramedics – Four Years
DVM (Registered with Veterinary Council)
Pharm D or equivalent (Registered with Pharmacy Council)
BS Physiotherapy or equivalent
MSc in Social Sciences (Sociology/Psychology/Anthropology)
MSc in Biological Sciences
MSc in Environmental Sciences
Master in Business Administration (MBA)
MSc in Nutrition or equivalent
Experience for MSPH:
In case of MBBS/BDS degree holders, one year of full-time House Job from a PMDC recognized institution is required. Knowledge of MS Office is mandatory.
Important Instructions for Entry Test:
Candidates must reach their respective center at least half an hour before the commencement of the Test.
Candidates must bring the following documents with them on the Test date:
Required Documents:
Original CNIC. Those who fail to bring these documents will not be allowed to appear in the Test.
Print out of Admit Card.
How To Apply:
- Log on to www.jsmu.edu.pk.
- Download the application form and fee voucher worth PKR 5,000/- available on the website (payable at any HBL branch).
- Complete application form, paid fee voucher, and relevant documents should be sent via courier at Office of Admissions, 3rd floor, Jinnah Sindh Medical University, Rafique H.J. Shaheed Road Karachi.
- Prospectus is available on JSMU’s website.
- Accommodation is not available for any candidate.

The Entry Test shall be set from the following fields:
Public Health
20 MCQs
Arithmetic and Verbal Reasoning
30 MCQs
General Knowledge
2 Essay Questions (10)
Additional Information
- Only successful candidate will be called for interview by the Admission Committee.
- Total Marks: 60 (No negative marking in the Test)
- Duration of Test: 90 minutes
- No TA/DA will be given
