Im struggling with Cover Letters as a graduate. Which of these is better?

Yeah, as it says, I am currently struggling with the best way to format a cover letter.

I have provided two examples of the same cover letter. Do you mind letting me know which one is better and how it could be further improved?

Industry: Games
Thanks

VERSION ONE:

Dear [Company],
Playing and designing video games has been a passion of mine since early Lua development, however it became the forefront of my career path since pursuing Games Development (BSc) at University. I started developing minigames in ROBLOX Studio between 2013 and 2017 at the age of 10 which lead to a growing passion for Games Design and realised it was an industry I wanted to venture into.

Having graduated with a Bachelors of Science (First Class) degree in Games Technology, a course mainly focusing on games programming in Unity (C#) & Unreal Engine (C++), I managed to work on a wide array of solo and team projects.

Throughout these projects, I was consistently Lead UX/UI Designer, Programmer and Game Designer, shipping the games to PC, console and mobile. Furthermore, I have experience contributing to other areas of expertise such as Virtual Effects and Audio Design. Problem solving has always been embedded into whatever I do due whether it be in relation to programming or design choices. Being a project leader for video game products helped me to explore various disciplines such as:

UX/UI Design – Creating engaging & creative interfaces whilst retaining cohesion for client ease of use.

Games Programming – C# & C++ with over 8 games developed at University with varying gameplay and mechanics.

Game & Level Design – Experimenting with various level designs to make fun and interactive experiences for players.

Audio Director – Working with voice actors and sound designers to ensure that audio was captivating and immersive.

Project Management – Managing project scopes, deadlines and team management through analytical decision-making and the use of Teams, Trello, Discord & ClickUp.
Additionally, I have also had the opportunity to work on film projects at University by assisting with scene lighting and Virtual Production suites within Unreal Engine.

Outside of my creative works, I love public speaking, having taught speech classes at secondary school to younger years through the Talk Easy Trust. I recently featured on the BBC Radio station to discuss the importance of young people voting within the general election.
I am extremely enthusiastic towards learning more about the industry, to expand my already strong skillset and to collaborate with the talented employees at [Company]. I believe my background as a lead Game Designer & Technical UI Developer in will bring a great creative and fun twist to projects.
Thank you for reading my application and I hope to hear from you soon!
Yours sincerely,
