Mai Municipality, Office of the Municipal Executive, Sitali, Ilam Koshi Province, Nepal Notice for Inviting Applications

Mai Municipality Executive, applications are invited to fill the following positions through open competition on a contractual basis. Interested Nepali citizens with the following qualifications are requested to submit their applications along with a revenue voucher of the examination fee paid to this Mai Municipality Office within 15 (fifteen) days. The details along with the form will be available at the office or on the office website www.maimun.gov.np.

Positions Available:

1. Engineer (Civil)

   
   

   • Level: Seventh

   • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent subject obtained from a recognized educational institution by the Nepal Government.

   • Application Fee: 1000/-

   • Number of Positions: 1 (one)

2. Sub-Engineer

   
   

   • Level: Fifth

   • Educational Qualification: Proficiency certificate or overseer or diploma in engineering subject from a recognized educational institution.

   • Application Fee: 800/-

   • Number of Positions: 1 (one)

3. Agriculture Development Officer

   
   

   • Level: Sixth

   • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in agriculture science subject (B.Sc. Ag) obtained from a recognized educational institution by the Nepal Government.

   • Application Fee: 1000/-

   • Number of Positions: 1 (one)

Educational Qualifications:

1) Nepali Citizen.

2) Age Limit – For Engineer and Agriculture Development Officer positions, must be at least 21 years old and not exceeding 35 years. For women, must be at least 21 years old and not exceeding 40 years. Additionally, for Sub-Engineer, must be at least 18 years old and not exceeding 35 years. For women, must be at least 18 years old and not exceeding 40 years.

3) Application Submission Location – Mai Municipality, Executive Office, Sitali, Ilam.

4) Application Submission Deadline – 2081/04/25 within office hours.

5) Selection Method – Written and oral examination.

6) Documents to be attached:

a. Copy of Nepali citizenship certificate.

b. Copy of the minimum educational qualification certificate.

c. Copy of the character certificate.

d. Copy of documents showing relevant subject training and experience. e. 2 copies of passport size photographs.

7) Job Description, service facilities, and others will be as per the local level’s determination and contractual agreement.

8) For matters not clarified by the notice, the office’s decision will prevail.

9) Application Fee – The application fee must be deposited in the Sanima Bank Mai Municipality’s internal revenue account no. 052010040000013 and the original voucher or receipt must be submitted.
